Alexander “WhoaBeatz” Burrell is a Florida-based producer and engineer known for crafting emotionally driven, genre-bending records that push boundaries while staying authentic. As co-founder and Vice President of C-Note Music Group, he helps define the label’s sonic identity while bridging hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, and crossover pop.

After high school, Alexander joined the U.S. Army, where he learned discipline, adaptability, and the importance of operating as part of a team. These lessons built his leadership, resilience, and precision under pressure — qualities that now fuel his approach to production, collaboration, and label growth.

In 2013, Alexander relocated to Atlanta to immerse himself in the industry, working with Dean Little and building valuable relationships that opened doors to major studio sessions. During this time, he connected with tastemakers Rasool Diaz and Grammy-winning songwriter/producer Dre Moon (Beyoncé, Drake, Future), experiences that sharpened his creative instincts and solidified his place in the Atlanta music scene. Soon after, he refined his craft under the mentorship of The MixxAddix and producers tied to 808 Mafia.

Along the way, Alexander has collaborated with Derez De’Shon, the late Colombian star Fabio Legarda, and platinum engineer Bryan Anzel (Future, Young Thug, Metro Boomin), showcasing both his versatility and his ability to move seamlessly between genres.

After surviving a near-fatal accident in 2015, he returned to Florida, where his partnership with Richard “Big Rich” Morant laid the foundation for C-Note Music Group. Known for his instinctive ear, emotional depth, and technical expertise, WhoaBeatz produces music that resonates with both underground listeners and mainstream audiences.

Currently advancing his training at Unity Gain Recording Institute, Alexander merges technical knowledge with raw creativity. At C-Note, he is more than a producer — he is a vision architect, turning stories into movements and building a catalog designed for lasting global impact.
